I SO dig stop-motion animation! I still fondly recall all those mythological creatures fighting in Hercules, (starring Lou ferrigno), and so many other bad B-movies I used to watch in local cinemas.
And hats off to Wes Anderson (one of my favorite directors since Rushmore) for going for it in The life Aquatic. It made a real big difference.

PPS. Since we are on the topic of movies, I watched Sex, Lies and Videotape on TV last night, again. I just can't get over this movie...

The Goonies! Τι ταινία..
Μου θυμίζει πολλά από την εφηβεία μου. Θυμάμαι ένα καλοκαίρι, πρέπει να ήταν γύρω στο 1986, είχε μπλοκάρει η κασέτα με την ταινία μέσα στο βίντεό μου, και έμεινε 3 μήνες ολόκληρους στη συσκευή..(ευτυχώς δε χρειάστηκε να πληρώσω και τους 3 μήνες στο βίντεο κλαμπ)
Από την ταινία πάντα θα θυμάμαι τα κομμάτια της Cyndi Lauper, και τη σκηνή που βγαίνει το καράβι στο τέλος στην παραλία..
(πρέπει κι εγώ να ήμουν 11 όταν την πρωτοείδα)

Για να γνωρίζεις πως ήταν 2 τα κομμάτια της Cyndi στην ταινία και όχι ένα, you must be, like, the chosen one or something!

Now, seriously, i luv the movie and the songs-and Cyndi is something unique, something like a freak image for the '80s. Τα χρόνια εκείνα έμοιαζε με αντιγραφή της Madonna, αλλά σήμερα φαίνεται πως ήταν κάτι αυθεντικό, κουβαλούσε την τρέλα της και η μουσική της μου θυμίζει έγχρωμες (πάντα) εικόνες απο εκείνη τη δεκαετία.
